I am 16 and live in England. I have loads of great friends and family here but don't really enjoy it. I am 16 and about to start 6th form and depending on whether I get the grades I need I will apply for BYU in America which I am really looking forward to, if I get in. I feel like that is the only thing I have to look forward to for the next two years! I love surfing and snowboarding but I don't live close to any beaches or anywhere I can snowboard so don't get to do it as much as I would like. I also love playing basketball and football but most of my friends don't. I have a lot of fun with my friends but its hard to find stuff to do as I live in a small place where there isn't much. I cant wait until the next two years are over and I will hopefully move to America for University. I much prefer the people over there as they are much more positive and interesting although I love my family and friends. I am a mormon which I think may be part of the problem as I have completely different standards to my friends and although I do get girlfriends I don't get many as they either think Im weird for not drinking, sex before marriage etc and I don't really go for them as none are my type. I am the only mormon at my school of just under 2,000 people and my church is very small. I am sick of life here in England and wondering what could I do to enjoy the next two years as much as possible? Anyone been to 6th form and what was it like? Was it better than normal school?...
